Nanas Consignment Shop

We have shopped there a lot over the last year. Today I went in and had many things to buy. One of the things I wanted to buy was a push toy that was marked $2.99. When I took it to the counter, the girl offered to change the batteries for me b/c they weren't working. When they discovered it worked the owner told me she couldn't sell it to me for $2.99 but would sell it to me for $12.99. When I pointed out that it was marked $2.99, she told me that was because she wasn't aware that it worked, but since she knew it worked now she couldn't sell it for any less than $12.99. She then proceeded to tell me she bought it for at least $6 and couldn't sell it to me for the $2.99 price that was on the price tag and clearly marked. I was buying $27 worth of other items from her store. I won't be shopping there again! That is not a a way to conduct business.

A wonderful place to shop! They have a tons of very nice, name brand clothes & a huge selection of shoes! Everything is clean! Toys and baby equipment all have batteries! They even have a play area for the kids! I have 4 children & shopping at Nana's is a 'no-brainer' for this Mom!!
