Established in 1987, Anderson Public Library offers various books and resources. Its features include a lobby, book stack area, childrens room, bookmobile and fire safety house. It addition, it provides informative resources, such as research databases, community information, homework help, interlibrary loans and various online links. It provides various audiovisual materials, e-books and reading recommendations lists. The library provides book delivery to jails, and day care and senior centers. In addition, it provides volunteer services for senior citizens. It also offers a library card and catalog, and book search facility. Anderson Public Library's Indiana Room offers genealogy classes.
