Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - Altamonte Springs

they have the best food in Orlando.I go 3 times a month.chicken shrimps steak ect so goood.

Me and a friend went to Kobe for the first time Friday night. We walked in and asked for a sushi table because there was a wait for the grill. We were seated right away. There was no drink menu on the table so we looked over the regular menu and decided what we wanted to eat. We waited and waited, no one came by. No one even even looked at us or said something like "I'll be with you in a moment". Several servers walked by and helped the tables around us, but absolutely NO ONE said anything to us. After over 20 minutes of this, we decided to go somewhere else. As we were walking out, we informed the hostess that no one had come by our table so we were leaving. One of the hostesses said, "oh we can get you a drink if you want". We told them no thanks and left. Obviously, this was not a great first impression. From looking over the menu, the prices were in the high range. If people are willing to pay that much for the food (which by the way you could get the same thing at several other restaurants in town for much less expensive) You expect excellent service, or at the very least, some service. My husband and I eat out every weekend. I have never had this happen. When a server is extremely busy, they have at least always come by our table and said "I'll be with you guys in a moment". Like I said, no one even looked at us. Very disappointing.

You go to KOBE for the Teppan show. The food is OK, but for the price it should be better.

a great show, very good food and the sushi bar is wonderful.
