        Overall

        I hired this company (father and son) to install a central air conditioning unit as well as some other duct work that needed to be done and was very happy with the experience. Not only were they well priced relative to the competition, but they were also very knowledgeable and personable. I point this out because I've found that going with the low cost provider of anything usually entails sacrifices in other aspects, but it was a pleasant surprise to get the best of both worlds with SOMS. I tend to be very nosy and inquisitive, which annoys many contractors, but they had no problem with me asking all of my questions as they worked and also had no problem taking the time to give detailed technical explanations. Not only do I feel that I received great work at a great price, but I also learned some things about heating and cooling in the process, which I appreciate. If I ever need heating and cooling work in the future I would not hesitate to call these people back up again... I honestly don't think I would even bother shopping around. As a result, I highly recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

        Overall

        I had a few companies give me quotes for a new air conditioner. SOMS not only gave me the least expensive quote but it was for a better ac than the other quotes. The gentlemen arrived on time for my installation and were very polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and you could hardly tell that they had been there. I would highly recommend SOMS Indoor Air Quality to anyone.

        This business in not run with integrity. I would recommend you find another to work with. They came out 1.5 hours late, made partial repairs (no parts only labor to clean and adjust combustion), forgot to return to finish the job, and then charged my wife a second charge (labor) after returning 3 hours late to complete the job (readjust combustion) telling my wife I had authorized a second charge (a lie). I have used several companies that make satisfactory repairs, are honest, and stand behind their work; this is not one of them. I recommend you avoid this company.
