Ophthalmology
Dr. Davis is the director and eye surgeon for Aiea Vision Clinic. He trained in San Francisco and arrived in Honolulu in 1976 as the assistant Chief of Ophthalmology at TripIer Medical Center and in charge of the ophthalmology residency training program for the U.S. Army at TripIer Hospital.
Macular Degeneration
As we enter our "Golden Years", we are challenged by many diseases that seem reserved for seniors. Macular degeneration is a degenerative process affecting the retina of seniors. Age, smoking, U.V. light and heredity are considered the most likely risk factors for macular degeneration (AMD).
