Our staff is experienced in all areas of vision care. Maintaining healthy eyes require regular vision and eye exams. We look forward to serving you.Dr. Schell received his bachelors degree in Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1981 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from University of California, Berkeley in 1986. He served on active duty as Associate Chief of Optometry Services at Mather Hospital, Mather Air Force Base, California from 1986 to 1990. He started private practice in Cameron Park, California in 2000, while also continuing part time as a civilian optometrist at Mather Air Force Base. In the hospital setting, Dr. Schell worked with several ophthalmologist and treated a wide range of eye diseases, including glaucoma. He also continued his Air Force career in the Air Force Reserves, serving as Chief of Optometry Services at Beale Air Force Base California, and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel prior to retiring in 2005. Dr. Schell has been in private practice in Victorville, California since 1998. He is dedicated to providing very high quality eye care, and has invested in the newest technology exam equipment, including computerized refractive instruments and the Optos laser scanning ophthalmoscope.
