Barsch Animal Clinic

We have been taking our dog here for annual vaccinations for several years. Recently, our Corgi became ill and the staff there was very responsive and caring. Coincidentally, at the time that she was ill, we had a trip planned. We decided that it would be better to board her at Barsch (as they were an animal clinic) instead of our regular boarding facility. While we were away, the vet came in on his day off to check on our dog. He called us with an update to let us know that she was progressing. Theresa, the vet tech was wonderful. When we picked her up, she took up back to the kennel area, which was absolutely spotless. My experience couldn't be any different than the other reviews here.

I've used Barsch Animal clinic of about 15 years and have always gotten good service. He has treated everything from birds and reptiles to cats and dogs. My bulldog's knee surgery was flawless and his movement is perfect after ACL repair. I know he hires a lot of young people out of high school / collage so the faces do change. But i've never had to wait to get an apointment or the best care for my pets. The staff is friendly, i've never had a problem with anyone ever. Dr. Brasch will be my vet until he retires.

I love Dr. Barsch, but Dr. Pinfold and the front desk staff are horrible. Besides Crystal at the front desk, I have experienced rudeness, long wait times (in person and on the phone), and a general lack of caring. They are unable to manage the clients that come in in a timely manner. I have a 12 year old dog and after going to this clinic for that long plus for the time we had our previous dog, my entire family has switched to another vet. It used to be wonderful there, but now we can't stand to go anymore. Dr. Pinfold is nice, but very old school and seems unwilling to run necessary tests. He even wrongly diagnosed cancer in my dog and now the cancer has grown into a huge tumor hanging from her, and she's so old, that we can't operate on the tumor. Dr. Pinfold said the small bump was a fatty tumor and didn't want to check into it further. If he had, we could have caught this. I'm thinking of suing.
