Broadway Heights Apartments

Great apartments! The place is super quiet and the units are renovated with tile, new appliances and cabinets. Price for the area is a steal ($550). Staff is very friendly and maintenance is super fast (usually same day). They also have pest control services free of charge (outside pest control company) if you need it. Good location and neighbors. Do not bother if you previously have been evicted or have any felonies. Smoking is also not allowed on the property and/or the apartments, which is great.

Cons: small pool area, no pets allowed. Overall, I am very happy here.

ROACH MOTEL!! DO NOT RENT!! BAD MANAGEMENT!! THIN WALLS!! BAD PARKING!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!



In all seriousness this has to be one of the worst apartments on broadway, it's a nice location and from first glance you can be fooled to think that this is a nice place to live, this couldn't be more wrong. The place is infested, INFESTED with cockroaches! My girlfriend was looking for a small studio apt to rent and stumbled upon this complex, the price was right, the place had just been renovated and the staff seemed friendly, WRONG! After first moving in we realized there was a strong smell of cat urine coming from the carpet, we complained to the management and they simply said that the carpet had been shampooed and there should not be an odor, so basically calling us liars. We had to rent our own carpet shampooer at our own expense and shampooed the carpet 5 TIMES!! The urine had soaked into the wood sub-floor and was impossible to eliminate, after 2 weeks of emails complaining about the carpet, they finally replaced it and that seemed to put our worries at ease. Nope, then came the roaches! After a couple of weeks we kept seeing roaches either alive or dead constantly around the apt, in the bath tub, in the sinks, in the kitchen, around the plants. IT WAS HELL! Needless to say my girlfriend stayed with me at my apt the majority of her lease and every time we would go back, we would be greeted with hundreds, HUNDREDS of tiny dead roaches!! They were only dead because we set our own traps and sprayed our own roach killer, the only thing management would do about it is send "Terminix" to spray but this never did anything, the roaches would never stop coming. We never stayed there longer than a week so we never had trash or food laying around, simply put this apt is a hive, and they are breeding in the walls and floors, they are EVERYWHERE!



Finally when the lease was up, we moved everything, cleaned the apt and turned in the key! GOOD RIDDANCE!! But no, the management told us we didn't clean anything and that they would have to hire professional cleaners to redo everything! WHAT!? They had no intention of giving us back our deposit! At this point, we cut our loses and ran, literally RAN away from this hell hole!
