What a joke. They don’t even deserve one star. I went to the Pueblo West office in July for a routine eye exam. She asked if I had any irritation or anything wrong with my eyes so I had happened to mention that my eye was irritated, most likely from the smoke in the air from the fires and asked if there was anything over the counter that I could buy. Then continued with my regular appointment. Dr. Kim lied in my record and stated that I came in with the chief complaint of dry itchy eyes and claimed she gave me the diagnosis of dry eye syndrome, and billed tricare as a medical appointment instead of a preventative eye exam. That leaves me responsible for the bill because I did not have a referral for a medical appointment. In fact, She never mentioned dry eye, she agreed it was probably from the smoke because she had several other patients complaining about the same thing and gave me a sample of an over the counter artificial tears. They are claiming that I specifically went in for my irritated eye and not my routine eye exam.
The sad thing of the whole story, I had to go get another eye exam at another place because I could not see through the glasses I ordered online. The other eye place confirmed that the prescription in the glasses matched the prescription I received from these fools. I had to pay out of pocket for that second exam.
Then, don’t confront the billing department because the lady will hang up on you. Not before she makes an accusation that I want to trick my insurance into paying for a bill that I don’t want to pay.

I went in to see Dr. Murphy, during the exam it was told to me that I had cataracts in both eyes. We discussed the procedure and it was told to me that I would have 20/20 vision. This was so not the case. During the procedure with my right eye I left with immediate bruising and a "halo" around my eye. When i returned to my follow up, the doctor told me this was normal and that it would eventually go away. I then scheduled the 2nd surgery for my left eye..Again some major bruising, which he said , oops it happened again, this happens sometimes. Once I got home my vision was actually worse that it was before I had the surgeries...I was mortified!! Once again went for a follow up and more excuses for the reasons why i was seeing lines, halos, and more floaters ..Now his suggestion was laser, which would make that go away..NOPE!! Now I have to wear prescription glasses to see far away..His suggestion at this point was well, you have blue eyes and we can prescribe high dollar eye drops so you can better your chances at night driving..All Dr. Murphy needed to do and should have done was admit that he made a mistake and correct it on his own dime..I am at a loss, lots of $$ , time and emotional stress this has been put on me..I cannot put into words what this has done to me..I'm still paying for a "botched eye surgery" from the "care given" by Dr. Murphy.. I would advise anyone to NOT go here!! I'm at a loss for words
