Dr. Trent C. Henderson Dr. Henderson, a native Kansan, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas in December 2002. Dr. Henderson went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry in May 2007. During his training, Dr. Henderson completed an internship at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, where he gained valuable experience managing glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.Dr. Henderson has been the recipient of several honors and awards including membership to Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and the Heart of America Contact Lens Society scholarship grant. Dr. Henderson is licensed to practice optometry in the state of Kansas and is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. While Dr. Henderson enjoys all aspects of optometry, he particularly enjoys contact lenses and management of ocular diseases. Dr. Henderson, along with his wife Jennifer, resides in Olathe with their three children, Hayden, Hayleigh, and Hayes. During his free time, Dr. Henderson enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and being an avid fan of the Kansas Jayhawks!
