I want to preface this with the statement that I am not complaining about the work this company does I am speaking about their customer service and their appointment making policies. On May 30, 2014 I negotiated with Hansen tree service of Abington, MA to do some work on the 2 large trees in my yard. I gave them a deposit and agreed to pay $950 for the work to be done. I contacted them last week to ask when they may be coming. I was told that they take 3 weeks before they come to do the work and when it's my time I will be called the night before to let me know I'm on the schedule for the next day. They called today at 4:30. Your tree work is on for tomorrow they said. I said great! AM? No PM? But I have an appointment tomorrow PM. Oh okay we'll call you another time when we're in your area. Wait, I can't request Monday or Tuesday? No, we'll get back to you. You've called me late in the day and I can't change my plans
I had Hansen come to take all the dead branches in backyard. That day, my new neighbor asked for the recommendation on Hansen, which I gave. A day later, I noticed Hansen left one dead branch. I figured Hansen could take it down when they cut my neighbor’s tree. I notified them in advance of the missed dead branch AND met up with them the day they showed for my neighbor. They did not cut down my dead branch and when I called their office on it, they insisted it wasn’t in the Work Order and refused to call me back. If it weren’t for me, Ed Hansen wouldn’t have had the $1,500 job for my neighbor, but he refused to address a $50 branch. He couldn’t be anymore thankless. Quite honestly one of the most gutless contractors around. Don’t hire Hansen.

Provided by SuperpagesI called these guys 3 times for an estimate, never heard back from them. If this is the way they do business you probably don't want them in your yard. Take your business elsewhere.
