Freddy's Appliance Parts

I had a working electric range with a shattered glass on the control panel. Despite having the model number of the range, they ordered the wrong part TWICE. Freddy even brought his "electrical engineer" to try and get the wrong part to work. I asked him to replace the broken part so we could at least have a working range, he did so and now the range doesn't work at all. As I have 3 children, I had to get a new range ASAP. After taking 3 days off from work to be there for the installation and removal of the wrong parts, Freddy had the nerve to charge me $55 for a service call! I had to go to the store to present my credit card for a refund on the part. When I stated that I was not happy about paying for a service I never received, the clerk was very rude. Now I'm out 3 days work, $700 for a new stove and $55 service charge. STAY AWAY!!!

The worse service! He comes to my house, starts to pull out the dryer, realizes a shelf needs to be moved, so I started to move it which would of only took 2 mins, he turns around, grabs his stuff and says " I don't have time for this, I have other appointments" ( after only being there for 3 minutes) he gets in his truck and SPEEDS OFF, Almost hitting my neighbors kids and getting into a screaming match with their mothers. Really? Is this the type of person that should be in your home? I don't know how he can be in business.

Go elsewhere because Freddy's only interested in getting your money. At Freddys you will pay 3 times what you can get the part for from sites like eBay with shipping included. All electrical sales are final, even if unopened, as he will point out AFTER he's sold the part at a 300% markup to a lady who drops in to grab a part with 2 small children in tow. He would rather make one sizeable score off of you than to work with you on an honest price and retain you as a repeat customer. As you can tell his business model is antiquated and he's not even knowledgeable enough to perform a continuity test on a return item. Go elsewhere or be careful.
