Dental Examination
Each checkup visit includes a cleaning, oral exam, updating your x-rays if needed, as well as the opportunity to consult with the dentist about any difficulties you may be having with your teeth.
X-rays
Before recommending root canal therapy we collect a thorough history of any symptoms and perform an examination including dental x-rays. This helps us accurately diagnose any tooth that may need root canal therapy.
Oral Cancer Screening
One of our goals is to provide you with the most thorough dental examination possible. The examination includes necessary dental films (x-rays) and photographs, an Oral Cancer Screening, an exam for early signs of any gum disease, and an evaluation of your bite, teeth and jaw joint. If any type of gum disease is diagnosed you may be asked to return for additional customized treatment. Our registered dental hygienist provides a thorough professional cleaning and works with you to develop a personalized home care routine. Whatever your goals are concerning your dental health, we are here to assist you.

Teeth Cleaning
There are a number of factors that contribute to gum disease. Some of these can include poor oral hygiene, not getting regular dental cleanings, smoking or chewing tobacco, certain medications, defective fillings, crooked teeth and other illnesses that are bacterial in nature.
Fluoride Treatment
The Whitening procedure is simple and quick. Dr. Lind begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. Next, he activates the Whitening Gel with a specially designed light. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure.
Dental Sealants
Dr. Lind recommends that parents explore the possibility of using sealants on their children’s teeth to prevent tooth decay early on in life.

Porcelain veneers are one of the best ways to transform your smile in a short space of time. Done properly, the results we get for our patients are nothing less than spectacular.
Crowns
Dr. Lind prefers the use of all porcelain crowns to restore his patients teeth because of the durability of the material and the fact they look completely natural. Dr. Lind strongly feels that, “Good dentistry should not be seen or felt in the mouth,” and he works hard to practice what he preaches.
Bridges
One of the biggest advantages in coming to our office located in Meridian, Idaho is that Dr. Lind treats your whole mouth and overall health, rather than just individual teeth. Dental Bonding
Sometimes a crown is not the optimum solution and other dental procedures such as inlays, onlays, partial crowns, porcelain veneers or dental bonding are more appropriate.

Root Canal Treatment

Deep Cleaning
If the dentist diagnoses any gum disease, one of our hygienists will treat it, usually on the same day. Mild to moderate cases are treated with deep cleaning (scaling and root planing), followed by dental antibiotics to root out any bacteria hiding deep in the gums.
