Be very careful if you decide to use this agent. We used The Curtis Agency to insure two cars. When we set the policy up both of the cars were set up under the same policy with identical coverage. A change had to be made on one of the cars and when the policy was entered collission was omitted from this car. We did not find this out until we had an accident. At first the agency was helpful admitting that a mistake was made. This changed quickly when the insurance company started asking them for information. They stopped being helpful. I filed a complaint with the Insuramce Commissioner and the insurance company agreed to cover the car. Unfortunately this agent decided to dispute this adamantly and the insurance company again denied coverage. The agent went out of his way to make sure that we did not get covered even though they are on the AIG claim investigators voice mail twice admitting they made an error. We are still waiting for the decision from the WI Insurance Commissioner. I have also filed a claim with the BBB against this agent and will take legal action next. We are going on 3-months since the accident.



Lesson learned: Do not make any insurance deal via fax or phone. Do not trust an agent when they tell you that it is ok to sign without reviewing.
