Dr. Hugh D McPherson, MD

Went with my adult son who was in extreme pain (9 on a scale of 10) due to herniated discs. Dr. McPherson and his assistant showed no concern at all, gave my son an RX for oral steroids and said they would do the trick. This is after viewing the MRI and x-rays showing the severe extent of my son's herniation. When we got a second opinion, the new doctor said it was unbelievable that any doctor would have come to the conclusion that nothing needed to be done. My son had surgery and is finally able to function. I cannot emphasize the lack of caring that Dr. McPherson showed. It was absolutely appalling.

They first sent me to the wrong office. I requested centennial and they wrote down Centennial on the card but when I arrived they said the appointment was for the Lone Tree area, a place I'd never been. Rather then offer to fit me in they tried to fit me in t Lone Tree since I was already late. Two hours later i had my five minute appointment. Next the referred me to a physical therapist near me. I didn't think to ask if they were in network and nobody along they way told me they were not. Now I get to pay $700 out of pocket. I will never go back and will inform my PCP not to refer anyone to Peak. They did nothing but take my money.

The Lawler family is so blessed to have experienced the incredible expertise and knowledge of Dr. D. Craig Loucks of Peak Orthopedics in Littleton, Colorado. It was a fluke in the scheduling that both our mother (age 82) and our brother (age 55) were in surgery on the same day for their first AMI (anterior minimally invasive hip replacement). We watched as they each recovered so quickly in therapy and were walking and able to go home within just three weeks! After a couple of months and again on the same surgery day, they each received their second AMI hip replacement and have successfully completed therapy and headed home. Dr. Loucks we cannot thank you enough for truly giving our mother a new lease on life with her ability to walk confidently again and avoid the need for a wheelchair. Our brother also has a whole new life ahead of him without crutches and walkers. You are a gift to our family and we will share your information with everyone we know!
