I visited the emergency center on a Sunday afternoon needing to get an urgent refill on my high blood pressure medication. It took a little more than an hour to get a one month no-refill script. There was no co-pay and have no idea what they would charge my insurance company for a blood pressure reading and minimal evaluation. Overall a positive experience this time.

I've never been treated so poorly by medical professionals and nurses in my life and I've seen a lot of doctors. The nurse practitioner was awful and mean, and the nurse was rude and cold. I would say don't go here unless you want to be treated as less than a human, and they didn't even figure out what was happening with me.

i am sorry we went to the ER the service was very poor, we asked for a blanket and never got the blanket for the 4 hours or more that we were at the ER, and the attitude was like who invited you. very, very poor service

Physician was excellent as was most of staff , however, the triage nurse was DANGEROUSLY incompetent.

I went to the Methodist Emergency Care Center because my daughter had a very high fever that wasn't coming down and I didn't want to go to bed until she saw a doctor. My visit there was quick and professional, the doctor had the nurses give her more Motrin and said she could have a virus or an allergic reaction but I should take her to see her pediatrician the next day. I was kind of disappointed to go home still wondering what was going on, but felt better going to bed knowing a doctor had seen her and didn't seem to think it was dangerous.
The problem I have is with the $1250 bill I got a few weeks later. I am self employed, therefore self insured and don't have the best coverage, but I think $1250 for a tsp of Motrin and to be told to see a different doctor, who figured out the problem and charged $90, is unethical. Unfortunately, after numerous phone calls no one else seems to think its a big deal and I haven't even been offered even a small discount.
