        Jarvis Christian College, located in Hawkins, Texas, is a traditional liberal arts institution that awards four-year baccalaureate degrees. Founded by The Christian Church Disciples of Christ in 1913, it offers various programs leading to a bachelor s degree, such as English, history, music, religion and education history. Additionally, it offers programs in mathematics, chemistry, biology, business administration and computer information systems. It offers more than 30 clubs and organizations on campus and various sports, including men s football, wrestling, track and basketball, and women s volleyball, basketball and softball. Jarvis Christian College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
