Provided by SuperpagesTo quote "Jed Clampett", "yay Doggies", this is the place ! (For you youngsters, that is from "Beverly Hillbillies") Hadn't been here in several years, and sooo glad to go back!Had a late lunch...HH lunch (11:00 - 300P) with $4.00 house wine and several lunch specials. Arrived around 200p, no crowds. Only one in the restaurant. Hmmmm ??? First served the fresh, just out of the oven, warm, thinly sliced focaccia bread with rosemary and an interesting pesto sauce. Tasted like it had some cheese, grated eggs, and maybe grated pine nuts? Yum !!! A definite "5" star.Upon the owner's recs (my server, great guy!) after reviewing the varied menu, he suggested his favorite, the "Tortelli di Formaggio", a spinach ravioli stuffed with 5 cheeses...gorgongolza, fontina, parmesan, gruyere, and ricotta, with a "pink sauce", i.e. creamy tomato. A triuly heavenly combo, so creamy and ever sooooo rich. Melt in your mouth ! His rec was right on target !! Filled up only on about of a 3rd of it. (Wish I could have room for dessert, but was sooo full!) (BTW, lunch is $4.00 off dinner menu selections, which is a great deal for most choices for lunch around $10.00, including soup or salad)Only (and minor) Downside - Salad was way too many greens, 1 half dollar size slice of a tomato, 3 cucumber slices, and 4 walnut pieces. Dressing was bland. That's okay, saved my appetite for the pasta !! Atmosphere - Comfortable, small, cozy quaint restaurant with mustard colored walls, distressed table height chair rails around the walls (looked like they were sanded to give the rustic look) , scrolls around the ceiling, rust colored floor tiles, and to compliment that, black lacquered tables and chairs with black table cloths and white overlay cloths, a nice combination. Felt like an "old world Italian look," nice touch. Quiet place, which would appear to be great for a nice intimate date night.Service - impeccable; food - excellent; atmosphere - comfy and cozy.Yep, in my 'hood; will be back soon to try more enticing menu items.

Provided by SuperpagesThe ambiance was casual and nice, appetizers and drinks were great, but my lasagna was burned and did not do justice to the Italian favorite.
