BE AWARE!!...stay away from this place regardless of reviews, trust me!...I normally do not post any reviews despite some not so great service I have received in certain places, however this I had to do so I warn others.I went in for service with a perfectly fine car and left with a number of problems. The mechanics completely damaged my car. They claim the car had issues but that is false accusations because they were clearly trying to cover their mistakes. I just could not fathom the idea that a big dealership would do something like this and then try to cover it up. I realized that was the case when I took it to another big dealership, it was confirmed that they had damaged the car. They identified it as poor workmanship due to an overtightened nut therefore causing to break the trans plug (see picture). Furthermore, the management team were arrogant and refused to admit responsibility. Look trust me about this, I have paperwork and images from the other dealership that there is evidence of this.. My intent is just to make you aware of their dishonestly and protect you the consumer.

Overall

I bought a 2012 Audi Q5 from them that clearly needed new brake rotors. They agreed to "fix the brakes". Come to find out, they replaced the rotors and NOT the brake pads, which is big no no. I've spoken with 15 mechanics, including two other Subaru dealerships, who stated emphatically that no reputable dealer would replace rotors and not the pads. Now, with only 600 miles on the new rotors/old pads, the old pads have damaged the new rotors, and this dealership wants me to pay them $600 to replace the pads and fix the damaged rotors - which were only damaged because they didn't replace the pads. Period.

Not ONE single mechanic agreed with their approach - not one. And they just keep saying, "well they are just trying to sell you a set of new brakes". Keep in mind, many of these mechanics I found on auto forums, so they couldn't sell me new brakes even if they wanted to.

I've told them, I am happy to pay for the pads - I just won't pay for the work to replace the damage they did by doing it wrong the first time. They are argumentative and refuse to listen to me, or read any of the responses I've gotten from the mechanics I've spoken with. So, I've cancelled my service contract because I wouldn't want these idiots doing work on my car = especially a part of the car that is 100% about safety.

As a side note, I also thought Paul the sales guy was nice until he became combative with me over this issue. He shook my hand and promised me the brakes would be done to "my satisfaction". Clearly they weren't, AND they've created another safety issue for me. One that is going to cost me $500 to fix. Nicely done, Autobarn. Nicely done.
