Jeff from Atlas Butler was prompt and helpful in dealing with our waste water back-up problem in our basement. This was an urgent issue, and Jeff arrived exactly when promised and within 2 hours of our call to Atlas Butler. He removed the roots that were blocking the pipe and checked that water was draining properly when he was finished. Thanks, Jeff and Atlas Butler!

We were so happy with Atlas Butler for moving up our install date because our system broke down. We are senior citizens, had a dog staying with us and the heat was terrible. Our crew was wonderful! They were prompt, working straight through for seven hours to install all our new equipment. Very polite and knowledgeable about their product. Atlas Butler is the best. Have used them for 20 years.

My experience is not very good. The company was prompt, the tech pleasant, diagnosis simple, double start capacitor. Diagnosis $89, part appears to be two dollars and the labor to install, $426. Total bill, $517, time on site approximately 30 minutes. They really push their maintenance plan $32.99 a month. 12 month total, $395.88. Had I accepted this plan, all fee's would have been waived I was told. There wasn't anything cleaned, nothing adjusted, no Freon installed although it was checked. This company needs to be exposed, if this isn't theft by deception then nothing is. They advertise on TV no additional charge for nights and weekends, etc. At this price they don't need to charge additionally.

The young man was wonderful; explained what we needed and installed a new part. I really appreciate Atlas Butler's service.

Kyle Forsythe is a very good tech. He is very professional and doesn't try to force you into unneeded repairs. We have been with Atlas Butler for many years and have been very satisfied.

First class all the way.Kevin was running behind and Atlas Butler called to ask if I wanted someone else. I waited for Kevin because he is the best. He performed the Spring check and informed me of a potential problem. I decided to wait and recheck this problem on the Fall check. Kevin assured me the problem was not urgent.

After initially having issue I finally got to someone that could assist, address my concerns and resolve the issues.

While they do provide service, their primary focus is selling their products and questionable repairs. For instance, I was sold a humidifier and later a technician said that my original one was a better product. No one would later explain why my new one always "needed service" nor did they know how to service it. One even tried to sell me a water heater for well over $1000. Of the other parts/products I was sold, the most disappointing is an expensive air cleaner that is supposed to help with dust. Yet I have experienced no noticeable benefit. The last and final agent I had claimed that even though he doesn't get a commission, the sales help with his promotion to a supervisory position. Don't use this company unless you have money to burn.

High prices, incompetent maintenance technicians and poorly installed systems are the Atlas Butler way. Stay Away!

This is the first time I write a review about a business service I used. This doesn’t mean that I am always pleased with the services I have requested but my experience with Atlas Butler Heating & Cooling is by far the worst I’ve had. I bought a club membership with Atlas Butler so they can come fix any issues promptly when needed and to get a discount on the labor and material. One of their technicians came on February to fix a minor problem with the heater, which he did, then recommended that I replace my water heater soon because the bottom is rusted and might cause leaks. He gave me a club member estimate around $1200 to replace my short 40 gallons water heater. Since it was not leaking at the time, I decided to wait on replacing it. 4 months later, the water heater started leaking, so I called Atlas Butler immediately and asked them to send someone to stop the leak and replace the water heater. I told them about the estimate that their technician gave me and that I was willing to pay that. They told me they would have the same technician call me to schedule the work. An hour later, the technician called me to let me know that his estimate back in February is no longer accurate because of some new government regulations and that I would have to pay a little over $2100 to get my water heater replaced. He added that the price is a club member price and that it would cost me even more than that if I weren’t a club member. I told the guy that I would have to think about it and that for now all I want is that they send someone to fix the leak problem. He refused to come or send someone because he said there was nothing he could do if the leak is from the bottom. I felt taken advantage of big time but I refused to give in to their price gouging and immediately called another company. They came the following day and did the work for $958. I called Atlas Butler customer service to cancel my membership and I was told that I would have to pay a fee of $145. Their membership discount is just a scam to make their customers feel that they are getting a good deal but in reality, they charge them way more than the market value. I do not recommend doing business with this company. They are dishonest and do not value their customers.
