Stay far away from this contractor. He is bad news. I had him work on 2 rehab projects, which he did not finish either 1 of them. One of the projects was a week's worth of work, maybe 2 if you stretch it. 7 Weeks later he was still working on it with no end in site. The other project was about a 6 week project and that one went on for months. He claimed it was a money issue and paying his guys, which is part of why we started the 2nd project with him - not sure why we did that now, but it was a very bad choice on our part. He will do what he can to coerce the money out of you and then not complete the work. If you do happen to use him, make sure the work is complete before you pay him. He is a smooth talker, but that is all he is - all talk, no performance. This contractor is bad news. Go elsewhere. I have since found out that I am not the only one KLT has done this to. He does not cleanup his job sites. We spent a lot of money with him (embarrassed to say how much as it was more than the amount put above). Result was no finished product before we had to tell him to stay away. Now, we are recovering from our bad choice in using his lack of services. Run as fast as you can from this contractor. I have video of the condition of his work after I told him not come back to our jobs - it is not a pretty thing. On many occasions, I had arguments with KLT/Tyson Kilgore due to the lack of completed work - he is just not professional in how he treats his customers. Quality of work is very poor. For instance, he hung paneling with staples because the nails were too hard to use and put in - this was in mobile home rehab. KLT does things out of order. An example, flooring (carpet) put in place before ceiling completed with texture. I could go on and on, but I must move on at this time. Just stay away for this contractor. He will not make things right for you.

I needed to have some repairs done to the gutters on my daughter's house and so I started calling gutter companies (none of whom would even return a voicemail) and worked my way down to contractors and handyman. Out of all the companies turned up by the yellowpages search for handyman only two returned a call. (KLT and Mr. Fixit) Tyson, the owner of KLT was able to check out the job, provide me a bid, and an estimate of when they'd be able to get the work done. All of my interactions were handled very professionally, and the work was done on time and for exactly what they said it would cost. I will definately be using them again. Compared to the other yahoo's who appear to be advertising in the yellowpages this company is actually professional.

After experiencing multiple problems with past contractors my husband and I were in need of a full kitchen remodel. We had seen a plethora of KLT General Contrators signs on our street along very beautiful homes and decided to give them a try. Much to our surprize and delight the young owner was extremely professional and seemed to be so much more knowledgeable than any former workers, that were twice his age, that we have had in our house. Tyson, the owner, talked with us for hours and even brought us to homes where he had completed similiar jobs. Each and every homeowner he had worked for invited us in and was highly pleased with the work KLT has done for them. They even hired him on to do additional jobs. His carpenters were even courteous and Tyson was invovled in every step of the way, coaching his team, and the fininsing work was imppecable right down the the last detail. We are more than happy with the outcome and have given referalls to our friends who are remodeling and are in need or a trustworthy company.
