Cornwall Church

i would agree with the ascessment of the previous review, however i would want to know if they tried to make a change there and showing people scripture rather than being a critic. Possibly there is a problem with all of American christianity, we expect the church to do all the work instead of us doing the work as ministers. If you notice a problem in a church you should be the one making a difference. Is it easy? no, Will you get trials, persecution, temptation? Definately!Question:are we making disciples or church goers? A disciple is "disciplined". a church goer looks for superficial things and when they are no longer getting their "felt needs" met they move on. Jesus said "you are my disciples if you obey my teaching" not saved by works, but "the grace of God teaches us to say no to ungodliness". If you love someone you will graciously confront the sin in their lives rather than smile as they destroy themselves(and then talk about them behind their back).

Cornwall is to big to hold people who are claiming to be Christians accountable to their walk with the Lord. I've meet two couples there that are not married but living together and yet the church does not hold them accountable to this. If the church really spoke out on Biblical issues instead of worldly issues then these couples would either follow Christ and get married or live separately or they would leave the church because of their sin. Cornwall is more into entertaining and worldly desires then preaching the word of God. If people who are living in continued sin with no remorse then the church has a problem...and Cornwall has a problem. This is why we won't be going any more.
