Provided by DexKnowssometimes when i go to My Thai, i get misty eyed. that sounds stupid, i understand, but it's true. the family who runs the restaurant is priceless. they are kind, attentive, and genuinely interested in how you encounter the food that they have prepared. I say 'prepared' because that's what it is: the kitchen is open to view (it faces the dining area), and you can see everything that goes into the meal. even the spring rolls are hand rolled in view. the mother of the family is a beautiful person. so is the father, so is the daughter.the food is, also, beautiful. in taste, and presentation. the pineapple fried rice. i try to order it with the idea that i'll save some for later, but that's always out of the reach of my self control. all aside, the best food around. hyperbolic, yes. but somethings sometimes deserve it.

Provided by DexKnowsMy husband and I drove across country last summer and when we stayed in SLC we stumbled on this little joint. I am reminded of it now as I am editing our journal entries that we kept on the way, "We arrived in Salt Lake City at our Days Inn which is spacious and clean and train free. Went out to search for dinner and found a great little joint which probably isn't even on those stupid tourist maps of recommended places to eat. It was called My Thai*** and it was super. Chris loves his food hot and hotter and he must have had a five alarm plate tonight. We both enjoyed it. He was bright red but loving every minute of the great big helpings we got. They even customized our appetizer to match our entrees. His was chicken and mine shrimp so the fresh spring rolls (unfried) we ordered had both in them. The rolls were also filled with noodles and basil and cilantro, a perfect blend. The dipping sauces very complimentary, chili basil and a come kind of lime-basil blend"I wish I coud go back r

Provided by DexKnowsI went for lunch and the experience exceeded my expectations. They offer prompt and reliable service. I will absolutely come back for more. They are very relaxed and friendly. Their prices are not expensive and very reasonable. I like the easy freeway access since I come from the airport to have lunch in this area. They have lots of parking in the back of the building. They have a web site that is easy to navigate, but I can't list it here according to review rules. I definitely recommend My Thai Asian Cuisine.
