Prost German Restaurant

Finally, after 20 years of searching since I left Germany in 1991, Ive found an authentic German restaurant. Ive travelled all around the United States and have tried different German restaurants in many cities and states, and none of them came close to what I was used to getting in Germany until I found Prost. The food was prepared exactly the way it was in Germany, and the portion size was about the same. Since it had been a long time since Ive found anything close, I tried 3 different dishes on my own, and sampled one of the dishes that one of my co-patrons had. You cant go wrong at this restaurant. They also have an extensive list of authentic beers and other German drinks that you wont find at other so called restaurants. Check out their menu of Facebook and make sure you have reservations, I was there on a Saturday and people had to be turned away because they didnt have them. Highly recommend Prost if you like authentic German food!

My husband I went to Prost to celebrate his birthday and it was wonderful! I've never really had German food before but after eating here I want it all the time! I had the yagerschnitzel and my husband had the rouladen (however you spell those items!) and both were so delicous. Yum Yum Yum! Can't wait to go back. Next time I definitly want to leave room for dessert!

Great food, great atmosphere, great owners. It's a hole in the wall, but you'll have a great time. Very clean, and cozy place. Only six tables, so MAKE A RESERVATION!!!

Terrific authentic food, outstanding hospitality, casual and relaxed atmosphere. The hostess thought nothing of making something up on the spot by special request. Very much like my visits to Garmisch and Munich/Munchen. It's a small and intimate restaurant; make reservations for weekend visits. Looking forward to a return visit!
