Point Loma resident and business owner of Dick & Jane Waxing Salon, Kerri Boyles, loves her business location and neighborhood. Her neighbors must love her too. Kerri offers a 25% discount to military and students; two demographics that make up much of the Point Loma area. Kerri was not always interested in owning her own salon. Before the salon, Kerri worked in the mortgage industry for over 15 years. However, about 7 years ago Kerri decided to switch career paths and enrolled in the J Boutique College of Beauty. After graduation she worked at a salon in La Jolla and North Park, and in 2010 she finally branched out and started her own waxing salon. Stepping through the doors of this modern chic salon you see two full walls of painted petal designs: orange, brown, white, and lime green.
