Fast, Friendly Service

I had to have my fridge looked at recently. I have not had to make these calls so was a bit nervous when just picking a company out of the phone book. The ad for Arizona Appliance Repair caught my attention and I decided to give them a try. The lady that answered the phone was very professional and helpful. I was able to get someone out to my home the same day and was charged a very fair price. I have a magnet from this company on my fridge and won't hesitate to use them in the future.

A completely awful experience. Erratic pricing. Poor customer service.

I had problem with one of the burners on my stove and called AZ Appliance Repair after I saw their sizable ad in the yellow pages and figured it was a reputable company. Although they were out to service my stove the next day, the pricing was outrageous ($142.00 labor for a repair lasting no more than 25 minutes). However, I was in need of the repair and didn't have time to search around, so accepting the pricing was largely my fault. The MAJOR issue with this business occurred when I checked my credit card statement and discovered I was CHARGED TWICE. I promptly called and was told that the customer service representative would look into it and call me back later that day or the next day. No call. When I called two days later I was quickly given a laundry list of excuses: "the owner is in Russia and so my e-mail communications with him are delayed" "the woman in charge of credit card billing is out of the office" "we have to go in and check every single transaction not just yours." Are you kidding me? You double charge my credit card and now I have to come after you to rectify the issue? What kind of business doesn't take a $400 dollar overcharge seriously and promptly assure and continue to reassure the client that it will be handled effectively and efficiently? Needless to say, it has been over 1 week and I have heard nothing from them regarding the issue. I ultimately had to contact my bank and contest the charge. Fortunately the bank credited my account and has initiated a dispute with the company. With so many other options available, why choose a company like this that, whether inadvertently or deliberately, double charged a customers credit card and then totally ignored the complaint thus forcing the customer to take the time to try and rectify the established business's error? Companies like this DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.

Poor Business Practices

On 09-23-2011, a tech determined that my refrigerator needed a new compressor. He advised me that his service does not do this work but that they make referrals. He phoned Dane, who indicated that he would do the job for $1400-$1500. The tech asked me if I wanted to have the work done. I told him that I would price around, because about five years prior I had a similar repair competed for $700. I did some research and found out I could get the new part delivered for $239 from Hayward, CA. I found a local repair service that did the job for $560 out the door including the new compressor that I priced on the phone. Since it appeared that there was an attempt to grossly overcharge me, I recontacted the first repair service and requested a refund of $49.95, since it was money that that I should not have had to spend. It was denied. I believe it was unprofessional for the first repair service to make a referral to an individual who attempted to grossly overcharge me. I will never use Arizon

Reliable service, reasonable prices, friendly technicians...

I used this company to replace the motor in my fridge. The job was done in a very timely manner and the price was below what I expected. Hopefully I will not need them again for a while, but when I do, this is the company I will call. Nobody seems to write the good things about a company. Only complaints! This company deserves a thumbs up!

No complaints here! I only have good things to say about this company. The technician did speak with a Russian accent but took his time to clearly explain the problem to me. He wrote a clear estimate and was very professional while completing the job. I have used other companies in Tucson and none of them compare to this one!

Fast, friendly, quality service

I called Arizona Appliance to come out and look at my washer. I was able to get an appointment for the same morning on which I called. The technician was very smart and polite. My washer was repaired within an hour at a price that I found to be very reasonable. I would recommend this company to my friends and will use them again in the future for all of my appliance repair needs!

I called they sent someone in 25 mins first he did not speak good English , and He brought no tools to test it out he changed my setting on it and cost 50.00 but still have the same Problem I think they are a scam

This is not a very reliable company. When I called them to look at my fridge they were more than happy to send somebody quite quickly. From there it was all downhill. The tech replaced the computer board (I happened to have one!). This took 15 minutes He then decided the fridge was fine and charged me $200. The next morning, the fridge still isn't cooling very well. I call them back and it took 10 tries jus to reach somebody who told me they "weren't in the office". Very professional. They weren't very interested that the repair hadn't worked and deecided I could wait another day for a follow-up. Funny how they treat the customer AFTER they have been paid. I also mentioned the $200 for a 15 minute job and they shrugged at that. I'll be disputing the charge (make sure you pay them with a credit card!) and going elsewhere in the future.

After 10 days and 7 phone calls Arizona Appliance still did not have the part available to make the repair. (It took me one phone call to determine that it was available in Phx and could be delivered w/in two business days). If the owner ever reads these reviews he should get a new receptionist and fix the lines of communication w/in his company.
