Dental Examination
We highly recommend a timely and thorough dental examination by your Dentist or Endodontist if you or your child is a victim of dental trauma due to accidents or sports injuries.

The doctor will open the tooth again and remove the filling material from the inside of the root(s). The space is cleaned and inspected thoroughly under the microscope for extra canals or any root fracture that might have caused the failure. New filling materials are placed inside the roots, completing the retreatment process. This may take one or two appointments to complete. Afterwards, the referring dentist will place a new crown, if necessary, or a new restoration to permanently seal the tooth.

Tooth Extractions
RCT is necessary when the pulp inside the root becomes inflamed or infected from tooth decay, trauma, cracks, or fractures of the tooth. Left untreated, the inflammation or infection could lead into an abscess with pain and/or swelling. Once a tooth becomes infected or inflamed, the treatment options are either tooth extraction or RCT to save it.

General Dentistry
I was born in Orange County, California and moved to Washington with my family as a young child. Having worked in general dentistry for over 26 years, I recently made the switch to Endodontics, joining Dr. Sarram’s team in August. I am very passionate about dentistry, and love to always keep up to date with continuing education so that I can assist our patients in getting the most out of their dental plans. In my spare time I enjoy traveling the world with my husband, spending time with our grown sons, grand puppies, extended family and our spirited Bernese Mountain dog, Finn. I love the outdoors, especially my daily walk with my dog, riding my Vespa scooter or E-bike and kayaking. I have been a Seattle Seahawk’s football fan since 1976. My husband and I would love to see our Seahawks play in EVERY NFL STADIUM and we have been to 8 so far, including Wembly Stadium in London and Metlife Stadium for Superbowl 48! GO HAWKS!
