Michael returned to his hometown, Lafayette, to practice law after graduating from Southern University Law Center. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Lafayette City Prosecutor’s office in 2015 and tried over sixty criminal trials within his first six months of practicing law. Thereafter, he joined Jeansonne & Remondet LLC in November of that same year. His areas of practice include commercial vehicle liability, construction defects, premise liability and worker’s compensation.

Sarah is a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She earned a B.A. degree in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she was a member of the Honor’s Program and named to the Dean’s List. She obtained Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma of Comparative Law degrees from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. During law school, Sarah was a student mentor, ranked first in her class in Administrative Law and Family Law of Persons, was named to the Chancellor’s List, was chosen for clerkships in defense litigation and healthcare law, and clerked for the Honorable Judge Patrick J. Hanna, United States Magistrate Judge, Western District of Louisiana. Following law school, she was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John D. Saunders, Third Circuit Court of Appeal, and litigation associate, representing litigants in a variety of personal injury and damages cases.
