Casa Verde Salon Spa

I went to this place because it had the Aveda backing. I went for a brazilian wax. The person I went to did not use a different applicator each time it came in contact with my skin, so she double dipped in the wax. GROSS! So then, after she's done (never picked up a pair of tweezers to get the left overs), she gives me a muselin strip with oil on it to get the extra wax off and tells me she'll see me out front. So I check as I'm removing the gobs of left over wax and she missed a ton of spots. Now I'm covered in oil and naked from the waist down and she needs to do more work. What am I supposed to do, go out in the front and say,"Hey there, you missed a bunch of hair on my #*$&(# while in the quiet lobby? I'd hoped it was just the one time or the one person, but I tried a few times there and the same deal. I went for cut and color too and even after showing the stylist the exact color, she went with something different. What do you do after it's over and you're stuck? DO NOT GO HERE!!!

This is the only salon that I go to for ANYTHING! From getting my hair cut, to a salt scrub or facial, to the place to buy my Aveda products. They have a great staff that are always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! I am addicted!

The eyebrow waxing tables were short & uncomfortable;the woman seemed experienced - she did OK but I had to clean up my brows afterwards. The Signature Facial was a journey in awkwardness. The young woman had difficulty communicating from where to suggest I set my tea to which foot she wanted. In the facial room, she said it was chilly - I said it was cold twice; she did nothing about it. She sprayed scented liquid that chilled me. It was as if she was more concerned about "performing" from her training than in my comfort/experience. Afterwards: no mirror & I could not find her or the lady's room; I blindly pulled my hair back & wiped at my eyes with a tissue. I walked into the reception with no idea of what I looked like - oil in my hair, remnants of facial on my face. I think that the staff is young & does not appreciate the vanities/insecurities of a woman who just wants to be pampered & look good. The woman was trained in the motions, not in personalized customer service.
