The Source for Floors

We requested an estimate from The Source for Floors for a nice laminate floor for our entire downstairs and our bedroom. The Client Relations Manager came out and measured and gave us a price then said that they had Brazilian Pecan hardwood that wouldn’t be too much more and would help the value of the house. We explained that we have 2 dogs and 2 boys that could cause damage to floor. We were very concerned about the scratches and dents to hardwood. The CRM explained that this hardwood would be just as durable as laminate and that wouldn’t be an issue. We got the product installed and the next day we noticed the first scratch in front of the refrigerator and sent an email that evening. The next day the CRM responded and said he would come out next week and take care of it. Before he came out we noticed more and more scratches and dents in the product everywhere. When the CRM came out and said he would repair the area in front of the refrigerator we showed all the scratches and dents and he said that we would have to file a claim with the manufacturer. The manufacturer came out and said they would give us 1-2 boxes. This obviously was not satisfactory since the scratches and dents were all over the place. The next step was for the Source for Floors to file a claim to the manufacturer and we were told that this would be a long process and we needed to be patient through the process. We didn’t hear anything for 3 months and we reached out to the manufacturer and they said The Source for Floors would reach out and they never did. When we did they said our CRM was no longer with the company and would have to research the matter and get back to us. I called serveral times and got the run around. They finally said that our claim from the manufacturer was denied and we should have gotten something and we never did. I feel like if the manufacturer is not at fault the contractor is which is the Source for Floors. We were sold a product that was not what we were told.
