        We used another company to install and then to maintain our pool. It was a nightmare or an experience. Went to Desrochers hoping to get away from the horrible "other" company and were delighted to be taken in with open arms. The staff at Desrochers were so helpful and nice. They answered all my questions and even went above and beyond with helping to fix my pool and keep anything from happening again. I can't wait to continue using them for more seasons to come.

        Overall

        Had a rough start to the pool season this year and fought with the pool most of the summer. The staff at the Shorewood office, Mallory, John and other's are very helpful. Then there's Eddie, that really I saw way to many times this year, but he's great. Finally got the pool right now that it's time to close for the year, but hopefully next season will be better and I know with these guy's help it will be. I recommend

        Nightmare a Pool Install

        Purchased a pool from them and it was a complete nightmare.

        1. We asked for a bit of a larger area of (1x10) concrete and the father was like yeah we'll take care of that. The son Brian comes back after the work was completed with an extra bill for 2500. No one told us anything about an extra cost until after the work was completed.

        2. We ordered a larger heater for our pool. They put in a smaller one and hassled us about that. Showed the documentation. Finally fixed.

        3. Put in the completely wrong pool liner and attempted to blame us for the error. Pulled out the documentation and it completely didn't match. They finally had to admit the original was discontinued. Had to pick a new liner and wait 3 weeks.

        4. The craftsmanship is lacking. For example, the grade on the concrete is towards the house.

        5. After all our issues, they never apologized and were complete jerks at the pool turn over.



        I spent so much time fighting with them I probably could have general contracted the thing myself.
