I am absolutely amazed by the experience with Visiting Angels Whittier. This being our second time needing their services, they were great, from the intake process to each caregiver's support, everything has been beyond words. The staff's kindness and genuine concern for their patients (like my mother) stand out. Going above and beyond, they have exceeded all my anticipations. Visiting Angels Whittier and their Care Manager was the best customer service rep we have ever dealt with. We had already been through two other agencies that kept sending young inexperienced and not caring individuals. I contacted her and she immediately set up a quick interview with my grandma. Each caregiver they brought in would already met with their care manager first and she would share with them what my grandmother needed and would do random check-ins. The caregivers were wonderful and kind to my 99yr old grandma. They would cook for her, cut up her food and sit with her and encourage her to eat. They didn’t mind or get upset if she had an accident. I would highly recommend them. They are competing with pricing but their quality of staff and managers were the best we had dealt with.

We really loved the staff at Visiting Angels Whittier. They were so caring, and attentive, and taught us a lot, especially for a tired family that needed respite care. My mother's hospice needs were a big learning experience, but we are so appreciative of the quick response of Visiting Angels Whittier. The promptness of Visiting Angels Glendora and their respite care allowed us to catch up on some much-needed rest and sleep and help our mental and emotional state. They gave us lots of tips and tricks that really helped improve my mom's comfort. Thanks for all of your help and caring.

Visiting Angels Whittier is a very professional senior home care organization, . I hired Visiting Angels Whittier to provide a senior caregiver for my husband and wanted them to come to our home a few times a week. For the first visit, both the caregiver and the care manager (Joan) came to our home. I had a chance to tell them just what I needed from the caregiver, and it was so nice to have the care manager there, too, so she also knew what I needed. The late pricing was easy to understand compared to other offices I called and reasonable. The caregiver did a great job and gave my husband the chance to continue living in our house. This prevented him from being admitted to a care facility, saving us a lot of money. In addition, my husband really wanted to remain at home instead of having to live apart from me. Getting old sucks, but the caregiver made my husband's life better, as well as my own. Thanks again, Visiting Angels Whittier, for my husband's care and the respite care for me.

I really enjoyed the caregivers at Visiting Angels Whittier. It is essential that if one doesn't fit that you provide feedback because they have so many, and they can find you the perfect caregiver. I had one of their long-time caregivers for several days who did EVERYTHING! And thought of things to do when I did not ask her. She was really proactive and helped with cleaning, meal prep, and lots of other things. Whittier's office listened to my feedback and adjusted quickly. I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to my friends who family need respite care or support.

My mom is 95. Yay Mom! Though fortunate with her health, for the last few yrs. the natural changes of aging have started to take a toll (balance, memory, etc.) & cause her family concern. The family thought about respecting her independence, see's the changes in her everyday life, and wanting additional caregiving put in place. Mom, on the other hand, is adamant about staying in her home of 65 yrs & IS determined to ask for help ONLY when SHE feels it's necessary. What to do?

Visiting Angels Whittier has been an answer to prayer for my mother and our whole family. Geri and Dorothy were able to arrange overnight care for my mom who is 92 and who has dementia. Lily, our caregiver from Visiting Angels Whittier, took the time to get to know my mom as an person. She is patient and kind with my mom. Lily is also so helpful to me and my siblings. My mother had care from Visiting Angels Whittier for 2 years. The people who came to our home were very caring and loving to my mother. When she went into assisted living, I still had them go.
