Our shutters are built using 100% wood components: Basswood,Ash,Maple Nutty Pine,Alder,or Poplar painted or stained using Sherwin Paint Products. All Shutters are manufactured locally in our shop. We also manufacture sunscreens (Phifer 90%). VPS custom order blinds and install store bought blinds.

After over 40+ years in Houston we retired and moved to the Valley two years ago and bought a home in the Harlingen area. Decided to have plantation shutters installed and found Valley Plantation Shutters. After reading the reviews we decided to go with Valley Plantation Shutters. They gave us a quote and let us know that they would be installed within 5 weeks. Unfortunately we had a freeze and the installation was delayed. Jorge contacted us to let us know there would be a delay. Since than the plantation shutters have been installed. We are very happy with his work and they are so beautiful. He takes pride in his work and has done an excellent job in the design and installation of the shutters. It has made a great difference in our house. We highly recommend this Company.
