Royal Carwash & Quick Lube

Brought my car in for an oil change. Part of their gimmick is to offer a free car wash. On that particular day it was snowing, so the cashier told me I could come back - that the free car wash was good for 10 days. I returned on the 9th day, and while my car was 1/2 way through the car wash I was told they would not honor the free car wash because I didn't have some coupon that was supposed to be handed to me at the original oil change. I presented my receipt and invoice. Refused to honor the deal nonetheless. The owner offered me 1/2 a free car wash! I rejected it, paid in full, and told him I would never return. These people are ripoffs!

I've been going here (and complaining) for a long time...The prices are higher than elsewhere...The wash is just OK, and the self service bays are always malfunctioning...I've always been a little dubious about the quality of their work, and the techs actually doing a full and complete job, but now with this 'faster service', they scoot my car out in 5 minutes...It takes longer for the car to go through the wash tunnel...There's no way they can do everything that they advertise (washer fluid, tire pressure, etc)...The last time I was there, they didn't notice my wipers cracking or my check engine light...And not once in my 7 year tenure have they ever changed my air filter...This is part of the gig - letting drivers know if anything is out of place...If you're not going to do all the extra stuff, don't advertise that you do...To me - that's lying...Many things I end up doing myself when I get home...In essence, I end up paying way too much for way too little service...I will not return...
