B & B Movers

If I could provide zero stars I would. Company was hired to move our belongings from our rental to the house we bought. We were quoted a price that seemed reasonable. When they showed up, they spent a good deal of time horsing around trying to talk my wife into selling them my band equipment. They also brought a truck too small to hold everything and said they'd be back to get the rest. We stopped back that evening (had to be out by morning) and sure enough, the stuff they couldn't fit was still there. We had to make numerous trips across town to clear out what they didn't bring. They did show up the day they said they would, late, which wasn't a surprise. Then during unloading, they found my children's nerf guns and decided we would pay them to have a nerf gun war in our front yard. We called to complain and the owner said it's his kids working for him and said something about how it's hard to find help. He said he'd talk to them about it and call us back with a better rate. Never called back.



We ordered a treadmill two weeks ago and UPS delivered it to the local frieght company. Guess who that is? B&B Movers. They have had it since 10/1 and have not contacted anyone to come get it. Attempts to contact them are useless as they will not answer the phone.



If you want it done right, hire someone else and pay a little more. This company is terrible.

B&B was scheduled to move my mother (80 years old) on a Monday.

They never showed up so we called and they said they would be there Tuesday between 1:00 & 2:00. At 2:05 we called them and they said they'd be there in about an hour. At 3:30 we called them again and they said maybe another 45 minutes. At 5:05 we called them and they stopped answeing their phone.

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. We ened up calling friends and neighbors and had to do it all ourselves. We had to be out of the house that night, so we went all night to get it done. My mom was in tears. How could they do this and sleep at night????

They left us high and dry and did not even call to say they weren't coming and they never called afterwards to explain why (even though we left them numberous messages asking for an explanation).

PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS FOR ANYTHING!

I WOULD HATE FOR ANYONE TO GO THROUGH WHAT WE DID.

We hired this company because they gave us a reasonable quote and the owner was the one that showed up to go over what we needed and to give us the quote. The next day I called to see if we could not move the day to the following day that we had reserved. I was told no problem. The week before we were to move I called to confirm. The owner of the company tells me that he has no clue what I am talking about, and that the only day he can do the move is the day that we had originally set the day for so here we go. They arrived on time I will give them that but after that it all went down hill. We had trouble getting them to move what was quoted. Our Friends ended up helping them load the things that they were supposed to move. I left before they finished packing what they were supposed to move. After I left they charged us more then what had been quoted. After they left our apartment they picked up two more men so that they could get the job done quicker. When they got here they were rude did not want to take things to the basement. Were wanting to leave our possessions on the front porch. Wanted to just unload everything into the garage and were outright mean at times. They were not doing their jobs as they should have been and then they expected a tip from me. I had already been made aware of the over charge from my bf. That day I called the owner of this company. He said he would get a check in the mail on the following business day. We waited for a week and called again. He said he sent it and it should be there soon. Another week goes by and i ended up having to find the company office and get a check in person from the owner. We never did get a check in the mail. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. I would find someone from out of town.
