Rdu Sheds

I was looking for a shed. A Sam's Club resin shed was $1800 and I assemble it, or $2300 and they assemble it at my house. This would require that I have a packed-gravel or poured concrete slab/foundation. A landscaper quoted me $500 for a gravel pad and over $1K for concrete.

In fact, I'm attaching a pic. I am happy that I went with this company, and I am highly satisfied!

I'll give Tom a 1-star knock in the category of 'professionalism'. When I first emailed, he responded very quickly. Any further communication was quite brief, but all responses happened quickly (have to give him credit for that). The down-side of these short and multiple communications was that I wasn't feeling entirely confident with the business; he didn't convey that warm, fuzzy feeling and didn't really 'market' his company.

But, for a price that was actually a bit less than the total cost of buying from Sam's, I got a hand-built level, sturdy, functional [etc] shed that looks excellent! I bought it unpainted, so I still have some work to do, but it still looks great! The doors line-up, the saw cuts look straight, the shingles were hand-nailed onto the roof. Really nice!

The owner, Tom, is very unprofessional and actually just plain rude. He is actually not knowledgeable about his barns or his website at all. I first emailed asking for a 10x16ft barn. He responded with a 4 word email of "We don't have that" when he has pictures of 10x16ft barns on his website. After I emailed him back asking what sizes he did offer I asked for a lofted barn (which he also has pictures of on his site) and he responded that he didn't know what that was. When I explained it to him he was very rude to me and said "It's a loft not a lofted barn" as if I was using incorrect terminology. If you are building barns and you aren't aware that barns with lofts are called "lofted barns" then you might need to consider another profession. Or at least learning about the profession you are in. He was so rude to us that we decided not to use his services.

We had to reschedule due to rain but they worked with our schedules to get the shed finished.

These guys built sheds for several of my neighbors over 6 years ago and they still look great, I'm so happy that I was finally able to have them build one for me.

Funny you made that comment michele because they have been aroind for 7 years qnd until recently there really haven't been any negative reviews,seems like they were all written by the same person.

***3 of the 5 star reviews on here are from the company itself.*** Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money by going with a more reputable company. The money you think you're saving, is not worth the hassle, and unprofessional service you'll experience other wise. We decided to spend the extra and go with a more reputable company that knows how to treat their customers with respect, before, during and after the build. I can't image the nightmare we could have possibly walked into by letting this company build our out building. If it was this much trouble in the beginning stage, how bad could it have been trying to get them to service their work afterwards under warranty.. First impressions make all the difference. Something else that's funny,

Very unprofessional via e-mail and phone. Its like they' re in business to build sheds, but do whatever they can to make sure your first impression is a bad one. Refuses to come to job sites a head of time to survey what may need to be done prior to the build. Other more reputable companies do this to save aggravation come build time. Would definitely make the task much easier for the company. I've never experienced such unprofessional business practices from a company that's trying to do business. Its almost like they're trying not to do business.

Requested a quote on a shed via facebook and responded back with " no offered". Totally unprofessional.

Well, they don't have an address anywhere or I would have blown them up on Google. Totally unprofessional, not good at communication. They took us off their calendar and never told us. We both took off work to be at the house while they built a shed and night before, told us they filled our slot. No warning, nothing, They wanted shingle color which we had been working on. They never said anything about taking us off schedule. Shame on us for not reading these reviews before hiring them.

A joke. I thought his brevity on the phone and with emails was just his style. I was wrong. He is very unprofessional. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

A+ rated with the BBB, showed up on time, polite, did a great job and left my yard spotless.

Seem like real amateurs. Unprofessional at handling questions and options. They are just too busy…??
