        Our first visit to VA Beach and we chose Tradewinds for dinner. We enjoyed the great view and service but the food was below average. My husband and I ordered their signature dish of stuffed shrimp served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes were dry and tasteless and the shrimp overcooked. We mentioned this to our waitress when she asked if we wanted to take our food home with us since we hadn't eaten very much and she also offered to bring us something else but we had no appetite at that point.I would not recommend this restaurant nor would I ever go back.

        WOW! What a view!

        I just wanted to write and tell you what a great weekend we had. We were celebrating our third anniversary and loved everything from our room with the oceanview to the outstanding meals we had at the Traditions Restaurant. Everyone was very pleasant and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
