- Established in 2012Since the very young age of 16 I owner Yandro Ulloa took an interest in Heating and Air Conditioning service and repair. Like every young man interest was on and off but eventually realized that there is more to life than games and friends. By the age of 18 I started taking it seriously and started learning everything I needed to one day have my own business. After 10 years of hard work and ups and downs I did it and at the age of 27 I am proud to say that I am a Licensed Air Conditioning FL State Contractor. We are proud to serve the great city of Tampa Bay and cities surrounding it, Pinellas County and Pasco as well. Give us the opportunity to show you we care and that we are honest. Provided by SuperpagesOn 3/30/2018 Old Republic sent Air it Cool to my home to look at my air conditioner that was not working properly.Upon arrival to my home Garry from Air it Cool stated that the warranty company would not cover any of the parts needed to repair my AC. He told me that I should have read the small print on the back of the contract but people never do.Garry attempted to sell me a new AC unit but as I am selling I went with the repairing option for $2,000 which he stated was for parts and some cleaning. Gary told me he would need to go to Tampa to get the parts and be back.On approximately 4/2/2018 I contacted Old Republic on why then wouldn't cover parts, etc. and they stated they would cover parts. Old Republic stated that Air it Cool was supposed to contact them before any work was done and that they also did not have authority to bill me for anything over $500 before Air it Cool contacted them. Old Republic told me they would reach out to Air it Cool for an explanation.It then took over 2 weeks for Air it Cool to respond to Old Republic and when they did they gave them false documentation.Upon speaking with Old Republic, Air it Cool told them that all they did was clean the unit. When I told Old Republic that I had an invoice with 4 parts that they replaced and only 2 items they cleaned Old Republic stated that they would have to contact Air it Cool again.As another couple of weeks went by Air it Cool called in that they replaced some parts but would take those off the bill which came to $500 in parts. Air it Cool then gave a more detailed list of items they cleaned to Old Republic. The list is as follows.Evap Coil $350Blower Motor $150Blower Wheel $150Clean San Fan Cab $200Duct Cleaning $400Repair on Cabinet $250On my invoice it shows the following:Blower Pull Clean Evap Clean Motor ReplacementBoard ReplacementCapacitor ReplacementRepair Bottom of Air HandlerWhen Air it Cool returned to fix my AC unit they were there for approximately 30 min. They were not there long enough to clean all the things they said they cleaned. In addition, they used my garden hose to clean the AC unit which is NOT supposed to be used to clean an AC unit.As of today I still have not received the $500 credit that Air it Cool told Old Republic they would issue to me.Bottom line is that I did NOT authorize Air it Cool to clean my AC unit for $2000. I can buy a brand new air handler (what they actually cleaned) for $2000 or less. I authorized them to do the work which was on my invoice.Old Republic stated they would have covered all of the parts on my invoice so Air it Cool stated they would refund that to me. That makes no sense to me. If that is the case then Air it Cool should only charge me for the 2 cleaning items that they put on my Invoice.This was a scam from the start and if I didn't reach out to Old Republic I would have never caught it.I also believe that since Old Republic sent Air it Cool to my home that they bear some responsibility for this incident as well. I trusted Air it Cool based on Old Republic sending them to my door. I would never have spent $2000 without additional bids if I found them online.
My home warranty company Old Republic sent Air it Cool to my home to fix my air conditioner and this is what happened:
1. Told us that the warranty company would not cover anything on our unit because it was too dirty and he would need to submit photos . Told me I needed to read the small print.
2. Told me that several parts were needed and that he had to go to Tampa to get them and see if they were even available since it was an older unit.
3. He did not submit anything to warranty company as he is required to before he does any work.
4. Warranty company attempted to make contact with him for two weeks before they responded to them and only finally submitted information to them once I called them and they knew I was questioning the charges.
5. When he submitted to warranty company it was very vague and only had a few cleaning items no parts and charged Old Republic $75 only for service call.
6. After I sent the warranty company a copy of the invoice that he gave me that listed several parts to be replaced and very little cleaning they contacted him again for verification. My invoice is not mostly cleaning charges, it's parts. He submitted false information to the warranty co.
7. When he responded back second time he stated they did deep cleaning on several items costing $1500.
8. Air condition board only there for 30 minutes cleaning. There was no way that they clean all of those items. In addition they cleaned parts using my garden hoses, which is not supposed to be used. A special cleaning solution is to be used.
9. we did not authorize $1500 for cleaning. We paid $2000 for parts and labor to fix the a/c and he offered to clean it at the same time.
10. Was supposed to contact warranty company before any work was done to receive an authorization from them.
11. Was not authorized to take any money over $500 on one invoice according to warranty company.
12. Stated in the paperwork he sent the warranty company that he cleaned the ducts which he
The level of customer service and response we received from Air It Cool is far, far beyond what is the norm here in Central Florida. We received immediate responses from Wendy, who gave understandable and reasonable answers and explanations. Frank, our technician arrived as expected and carried out his job neatly and promptly.
This company replaced a ain conditioning unit less than 2 years ago and 2 times leaks formed causing freeon to leak out. They did the repairs to the unit both times but charged us over 300 for freeon each time. They say it is not covered under warranted. Well if the faulty part caused the leak then I don't see why the freeon is not covered.
Frank our technician was professional, and a nice person to deal with. He was not pushy as I have found other techs that have looked at our AC. I highly recommend Ait It Cool.
This company is the best. You call they are there quick to respond , Honest company . Will always use them for my ac. needs and they are in other parts of Florida as well. if you need a company call them

These guys are great! Fixed and helped me maintain my 18 yrs old AC Unit and it still running perfectly!
