Klipper Kings

You honestly need to know the barber in order to get in and get out. If you do't then tough luck because your going to end up waiting for an hour or more. They prefer to give hair cuts to people who are there for shape ups or a quick trim. I usually get a hair cut every other month and they HATE cutting my hair because it'll take them more than 15 mins. I gave them a 2 star, because they give pretty good hair cuts but it's not worth the wait. Too many "Ghetto" metrosexual barbers. Basically, it's meant for the younger youth, for example, high schoolers. I'm done ranting on Klipper Kings.

This is one of the best barber shops ive been to, the wait is not bad at all if you call ahead. i would recommend becoming friends with a barber so that he knows your hair type and can perform better. the sound system is very good and the people are friendly, I would recommend this barber shop over any other in Valley Stream, P.S ask for Slim

Klipper Kings is a barbershop on merrick road but u have to look close to see it because it has no sign outside. If its a little crowded(4 or more) u MUST make sure you are friends with one of the barbers or else youre gonna waiting hours just to get a hair cut. For me, the first time i went, every barber had a customer an d there was 3 people waiting including me. then when it was my turn, other customers came in and just got a hair cut becuase they knew the barber. by the time i got a hair cut, 2 and a half hours past since i sat down. i was really mad and pissed. and in the end, there hair cut was good but definiately noy worth the wait. you might wanna go to Ben and Tony's(its less than a mile away from klipper kings on merrick rd). Ben and tony's are way better!!!!
