Shannon is not only sweet and kind she is professional and "on time"! I would highly recommend using her to work her magic on your hair. She has been doing my 11 year old daughters hair for quite some time and my daughter loves it and so do I. If you need your hair done in a drama free environment, Shannon is the hairstylist for you!

The whole experience I received at Above The Rest was like know other. Shannon salon is so upscale, the flawless weave she gave me look so natural. She finished my hair within 2hrs. The juice bar is off the chain(yes her husband James made me a strawberry/banana/smoothie along with refreshments.. She's over the top.

I made an appointment to get my hair done with Shannon on 3/12/2012. And first off, I would like to say you would not be disappointed! I showed up at her shop TIRED and EXHAUSTED after working 10 hours. But she went "above the rest" by allowing me to sleep while my hair was being dried. Then she gently woke me up to tell me it was time to rinse my hair off, and put me back on the dryer for my color. I went back to sleep again, and patiently she woke me up again, to blow-dry and weave my hair. She even offered me an energy drink to help me cope with my exhaustion. I cannot say enough good things about her! When you come into her salon, you will walk in feeling like a typical customer that is not looking forward to the grueling appointment. But once you leave, you feel like a pampered princess! I love my hair! I haven't felt this beautiful in years. I love the vibrant color, the complete fullness, and everything about my hair! She does a wonderful job and I would highly recommend her to ANYONE! Her slogan "above the rest" speaks for itself! Thank you so much Shannon, and I'm looking forward to my next appointment.
