Community Hospital provides health care facilities to the people of Elmore, Macon, and Tallapoosa counties in Alabama. It is a more than 60-bed acute care hospital providing 24-hour physician-staffed emergency care and home health and hospice services. Its health services include cardiac rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary care, radiology, health screenings, intensive care and laboratory services. It also offers home care services, including nursing, physical, speech and occupational therapies, personal care and medical social services. Its hospice care services include physical, emotional, social and spiritual care for terminally ill patients and their families. Its new day senior care program meets the psychological, emotional and physical needs of seniors. Established in 1926, Community Hospital is located in Tallassee, Ala.
