Alterations AAA Unlimited

Had a bycicle seat recovered that was old and torn. It was their first seat and they done an awesome job. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Alterations Unlimited.

I'm a super easy going guy, and it is not in my nature to write a bad review. But, my experience here compels me to at least warn people in the area:

In short:
They said it would take two weeks...It took 3 months.
They said it would cost $75...It cost nearly double that.
They said they would restitch the garment...They missed 40% of the seams.

They never apologized. They just acted annoyed when I pointed out the problems, and told me I would just have to wait for them to correct their mistakes. After 3 months I ended up just picking it up. It had been hanging in the back totally neglected. I took it to another local alterations place, who did an excellent job and also pointed out the poor craftsmanship of Alterations Unlimited on the seams that they did do. I know we're all human, but this experience was beyond human error...it was just plain neglect and taking a customer for granted.

I had brought a handbag for repairs. Brought it in early March and was told it would be done the following week. Week came and I called to find out it wasn't done and to call again next week. That end of the week came and I called once more to find out that nothing has been done and to call again. Well another week goes by and I call to speak to a lady who said the bag was not done and that they would call me to let me know when my bag was done. I gave them another week, no calls, nothing. It's been a month!!! I finally called and told them that I was picking up my bag regardless. I got my bag back and I am deeply disappointed at their services. I do not recommend them at all, they were not sorry for holding my bag up that long and I had wasted all that time when I could had sent the bag somewhere for a faster turnaround. Never again!
