I contacted Malek Heating & Cooling just by chance. I was looking for a company who knew about gas boilers. They came out for the first time 4 years ago when my boiler died out on a very very cold winter day. I have been using their services ever since. I even replaced that 35 year boiler through them. They continue to be connected to me and what I need to prepare for the summer A/C and the winter heat. All the servicemen I have had at my home have been professional and efficient. Malek Heating and Cooling is the Best because Mike Malek is the most honest and competent technician who shows up on-time, diagnoses the problem accurately and repairs it correctly for the most reasonable price unlike other HVAC contractors. His service is always exceptional, and I have been using his services for five years.

Just moved into a new home and the previous owners recommended Mike. I was completely impressed with his follow-up, professionalism, and willingness to help me learn basic cleaning and filter replacement for my furnace and humidifier. Mike put me at ease during our inital phone conversation. He was the only service person who I talked to that wanted to try to at least fix my problem and not just replace my whole system. Very professional and explained everything he proposed to do in plain English. Waiting an an estimate from him to get my furnace up to this century's standards. Highly recommended.

It was a hot week. I called many companies from the yellowpages. Four Seasons said they were not taking new customers at the time. But If I wanted to pay overtime, they would send someone out to my home the next day. I called so many other people and they all said 2 weeks or more. I called Mike at Malek Heating & Air. Mike himself was there within the hour. He diagnosed the problem, and ordered the nesessary parts to be delivered the next day. The next day Mike had someone at my home at 8am and the problem was fixed. Both Mike and Greg were very professional and knowledgable about what they were doing. I recommend Malek for Home and Business. You will get a great price and great service.

I had an issue at my rental apartment yesterday with inconsistent heat. I was able to get the owner Mike to commit late last night to come out this morning to take a look at the issue. He had another appointment scheduled today but made the time to come out early to help me out. He is very knowledgable about Heating and Cooling and was able to accuratly diagnose the issue that was causing poor steam distribution in the building. Mike takes the time to explain the situation and always gives an honest opinion of what needs to be done. What a wonderful experience it was to have Malek Heating & Cooling in my home to repair a frozen pipe that had burst. They took extraordinary care to clean up each day. They worked quickly, and they went above and beyond the call of duty by adding insulation to areas that needed it. I've lived in my drafty old home for six years and always thought it just couldn't get really warm in the winter. For the first time, it is toasty warm. I am amazed—and quite happy about that frozen pipe!

Mike fixed my furnace after numerous other companies couldn't. He is so pleasant and accommodating. I will definitely call him again.

Mike is fantastic! I highly recommend that you give him a call if you have any heat or A/C issues or just need a seasonal tune-up. We first called Malek Heating & Cooling on a personal recommendation. It was February, felt like it was negative 50 degrees outside, and our furnace died. (By the way, we live in a drafty old house and have small children - no fun!) Mike was there in no time (on Saturday morning), fixed the heat and charged a fraction of what we expected to pay. He has been doing regular maintenance for us since then. He is a professional - definitely knows his field well and provides great customer service. More than that, he is very pleasant and certainly has reasonable rates.



Just a tip from someone who learned the hard way: consider getting your furnace tuned-up before February!

I have worked this Malek Heating and Cooling for over five years, on multiple occasions. The have always been reliable, responsive, and trustworthy. In addition, I have referred friends who share similarly positive experiences. When I expeience a problem with the AC or heat in my home, as luck would have it it is usually in the depth of winter or the height of a brutally hot Chicago summer. MHC responds quickly and effectively to solve the problem. I highly recommend using them and will use them in the future!
