Dr. Kurtzman is an awesome dentist! My wife had severe tooth pain called and got seen same day for a dental appointment by Dr. Kurtzman. His gentle touch took care of the pain and made this better. You need a dentist like Dr. Kurtzman and having him so close to Olney is great! Thanks so much for helping us out!

Veneers
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic material, which are bonded to the front of a tooth. This procedure requires little or no anesthesia, and can be the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the front teeth. Porcelain veneers are placed to mask discolored teeth or change the appearance of teeth. The veneers are bonded to the teeth with very strong resin cement. One is able to control the color of the veneers or the shape of the teeth.

Dr. Kurtzman was formerly on the faculty at The University of Maryland in Baltimore teaching clinical restorative dentistry in the department of Endodontics, Prosthetics and Operative Dentistry, holding the position of Assistant Clinical Professor. He is currently on the Editorial Board of several prominent dental publications. He has been honored as being selected as one of the top 100 Dental Lecturers by Dentistry Today annually since 2006. These veneers are highly resistant to staining. Porcelain veneers are a simple way to quickly change the shape, color, length or width of your teeth. Since 1989, Dr. Kurtzman has been a dedicated volunteer and member of the Maryland AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and has served as the Editor of the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry newsletter from 1990 to 2008. He has also been the Maryland AGD Mastership Track Program Administrator since 1994. The program is a nationally recognized continuing education program for dentists to achieve Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Dr. Kurtzman has completed over 4,500 hours of continuing education since graduating from dental school and also completed over 200 hours at the prestigious Pankey Institute. He lectures extensively on various dental topics and is in demand speaker both nationally and internationally. Continuing education has been a life long passion of mine, we are constantly being taught new technologies every day.
