As the need for environmental services in the early 1980’s arose due to new federal regulations, Jones Environmental Inc. (JEI) was established in Shreveport, Louisiana. JEI has maintained its Response Action Contractor (RAC) status in Louisiana for over 20 years. Initially, JEI primarily specialized in emergency spill response (hazardous & non-hazardous).
