Camera Complete Car Repair

FYI.. hoping this kind of thing can be avoided for someone else. I brought my car to Camara Auto on Hamilton st for front brakes. He has been working on my family’s cars for years and we have also referred others there. I picked up my car on 9/20 after he replaced my brakes, turned around one corner and my tire flew off. A witness on the side of the road said he watched my lug nuts come off meaning they weren’t tightened correctly. When the tire fell off my bumper ripped and scratched up the side of my car, the car fell onto the under carriage and was sitting on the suspension system. I called Fred and he came to the scene, put the tire on and brought me back to the shop where he screwed my bumper in and said you're all set, come back on Thursday, I owe you a lug nut. Fred knows I have 2 small children. Thank GOD they weren’t in the car and myself or anyone else wasn’t injured! The next day I looked at my car in the light and realized the damage was way more than just screwing a bumper on. I called my insurance company and they did an estimate of damage of $3200, including a new suspension system and wheel. I have a 1000$ deductible and offered through the insurance to just have him pay the deductible and forget about the rest. He told my insurance company while I was on 3-way that I was lying, just trying to get money out of them, and I’m obviously poor, and that I bought the wrong brake pads (which he didn’t tell me when I paid him CASH!)
