This is NOT a contractor that I would ever recommend!!! I was referred to this contractor through the Home Dep Pro Referral program. I called & set up an appt for him to come out. My husband had taken off work to be there. I texted him to verify that he was coming about an hour before & he said that he was pouring concrete & wouldn’t be able to make it. We rescheduled for the same time the next day. My husband again, took more time off work to be there & I texted again to make sure he would show up. He said he was just pulling up. He came in looked around, wrote a few things down & I wrote down my email address so he could send me an estimate. I asked him when he thought he would have it ready, & he replied sometime tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon came & went & that evening I emailed him, “can you email me a copy of the estimate please?” He responded, “Yes, I will. When I get it done.” 5 days later I sent another email asking him not to forget us (with our address & est request). A week later (after the original referral) Home Depot sent me a review request to review this contractor. I did, & hoped that it would turn around for the better, but the response that I received from Ken Edgerly was not kind nor professional in any manner. His response was, “I do not work for Home Depot, I do not wish to work for you” My response is as follows, “We have secured financing from another source other than Home Depot & would have made sure you were paid if that’s what you are worried about. Instead of stringing us along for a week, it would have been more professional to say something like, “I really appreciate you thinking of me but I’m really backed up right now,” even if you didn’t want the job. That way you would not have received a poor review & risked your reputation.” If you want to waste your vacation time off from work waiting for a contractor that doesn’t show up, if you like being strung along & wait for an estimate you’ll never get, then this is your guy!
