She has held several volunteer roles within the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) during her career. For AILAâ€™s Northern California Chapter, she has served as Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) liaison. On a national level, Atessa served on AILAâ€™s USCIS Headquarters and Benefits, Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), and Department of Labor (DOL) liaison committee. In addition, Atessa has served on AILAâ€™s Business Immigration Advocacy, Issues, and Due Process & Civil Liberties committees, as well as several conference committees. She has served on both a chapter level and national level as a Customs & Border Protection (CBP) liaison.

We also provide guidance, development and execution of corporate immigration benefits programs. Our commitment to clients does not end with our securing a nonimmigrant visa status for an employeeâ€”we partner with our clients to help to ensure continued work authorization and continuity in the immigration process. We provide advice on compliance issues regarding E-Verify enrollment, I-9 completion and retention and LCA and PERM documentation. In addition, we frequently represent individuals in family based visa petitions and on applications for naturalization and EB5 investor visas.
