Lucille's Sewing & Alterations

My daughter was so pleased with her prom dress! Lucille transformed a strapless, floor-length gown into a light, Spring dress- removing over a foot of length and turning the fabric into ruffled shoulder straps to match the style of the dress. We were able to drop it off about 6 weeks before she needed it, so we had plenty of time to schedule the couple of fittings needed. It was beautiful!

I hate to put down a small business but if you want a place that really cares what you want, I wouldn't suggest Lucille's. It took over a month to get my dress back & it still doesn't. Communication was not there, no phone calls returned & two nobody ever at office when i show up. My mom who was worried the dress wouldn't be done in time called and left a message & was very stern in what we wanted. That is when i finally received a call back, to hear her insult my mom for harassing her, which was NOT the case at all. She got caught and was embarrassed and tried to turn situation around on us. In the end i didn't get what i wanted, she was dramatic & unprofessional. I am only writing this review so future brides like me will know what they will be getting into. Also, she makes you pay ahead of time(bad decision on my part). In my opinion, I wish she would have been upfront with me and told me she didn't have time or room to take me. Not fair to me.
