Herl's remodeled my powder room, guest bath, and installed shower doors in my master. Design team is first class with great ideas. Project was completed on schedule with no surprises. Techs left work area clean and manageable each night. Definitely recommend.

Herls is awesome. They remodeled my bathroom in 2 days and it looks amazing, the crew was professional and curtious. I would recommend them to anyone.

Got a quote from this company after having just moved into the area. Our bathroom was in much need of repair, but we wanted to get quotes first. First, I was told after making the appointment that I would need to make sure I remind my husband of the appointment and that they would not show up unless he was there. Next, for a small and very simple bathroom remodel (new basic tub/shower and flooring), we were quoted $9k!!! WHAT?! So we told them we would think about it and get back to them after getting quotes from others. The other quotes in the area were much more reasonable, and nearly half the price, so we called Herls and told them we would not be using them. In about 6 months time, we had received about 7 phone calls from them, and had to get very nasty about them not calling us back. We had blocked their number, but they get sneaky and call from unblocked numbers.

Living in the past. Got a call from Vickie to set up appointment for initial consultation. She mentioned it would take 90 mins and wanted to know who owned the property first. When I told her that both my spouse and I jointly owned, she insisted that my spouse be present at the meeting otherwise it would cost me $150.00 or reschedule when my spouse can attend. Who conducts business like this today? Unreasonable and very rude. McCarthy 4/29/15

I had our acrylic shower installed and tub reglazed in June. The transaction began in April and was filled with issues and poor customer service by Ryan S. The project cost $2179.20. Ryan stated that we could finance the cost for a year at zero percent interest as a promotion.

I noticed on my statement from Wells Fargo this month, that I had been charged interest. Knowing that Ryan had told me that there would be zero interest for a year, I called Wells Fargo about the mistake. They told me that Herl's had provided them with a rate of 12.9%. I came home from work and found my paperwork. Ryan did not write the interest rate ANYWHERE on my paperwork. He verbally told me zero percent for one year. I NEVER would have agreed to finance the work for 12.9%, as I would have simply paid in full with money from our savings account. So now, the $2179 project has cost me an additional amount of interest! I blame myself partially for not reviewing my statements more closely when they arrived each month, however, I was assured by a friend that Herl's was a great business with an upstanding reputation. It's amazing that one poor sales rep has managed to screw me over so many times. I unfortunately will never be able to recommend Herl's to anyone based on my experience with Ryan.

The work was excellent, however, the customer service and communication from Ryan was worse than abysmal.

Stay away! This company does shoddy work and charges a lot of money to do it. They have absolutely no sense of customer service and seem to welcome confrontations with their clients. They were hired to completely tile a new bathroom floor and shower. Their work is very unprofessional and a 1 week job took 5 weeks to complete. The tiles on the floor are uneven in spots and you definitely can't slide a coin across the room without it getting caught on a tile! You should be able to slide a coin all the way across the room if the job is done right. We hired them for the job on a recommendation of a friend who had them do her bathroom and I had read other excellent reviews of their company. But this review is for real - if you want a contractor who is service oriented and does a quality tile job - DON'T hire Herl's!!!
